Accurate AusFleet Availability
To further help pool managers control operations, AusFleet now offers an option to automatically make fleet items unavailable for hire.
If an item is off the road for any reason e.g. is in the workshop or has been involved in an accident, simply make the item unavailable for hire for a specified period.
The unavailable period is indicated in the AusFleet hire calendar and the item is not visible in Aus-e-Fleet Online Bookings. Clicking on the block out period confirms the reason and period.
For users of
the Workshop module, items become automatically unavailable for hire between the
job date and estimated completed date and conversely, jobs cannot be created for days when a booking exists, including auto job creation.
This feature is enabled by a parameter in the Workshop module.
Other key features include:
·
Create your own reasons for unavailability
·
Link workshop jobs and accidents to unavailable items
·
Change dates to reduce or increase the unavailable period
·
The Hire Daily Schedule report includes unavailable items
·
Export transactions to Excel
Best of all, under AusFleet’s high-value support policy, current users of the Hire module benefit from these new features at no additional charge.
Other enhancements now available in hire include:
·
Search by personnel code in Aus-e-Fleet driver history screen
·
View both short term and long term bookings in Aus-e-Fleet driver history screen
·
Automatically and easily assign all drivers to all pool and/or locations to reduce data entry
