People say that the older you get the faster time goes. Given my age and the last year we’ve had at
AusFleet I prefer to think time flies when you’re busy.
By several measures, the last financial year was one our most successful in our 24 years of
business and for me, one of the most gratifying outcomes was to provide work to two new and talented programmers, Jazmin and Kishore, with plans finalised for another to begin
in August.
These extra team members will help us to provide even better service and will also support this
years plan to release the first modules migrated to our new web based software.
That’s not to say we achieved everything we set out to do in 2010/11.
A new support facility is being
introduced to improve support turnaround times and specification workshops are
now de rigueur to ensure quality design at the concept phase.
In terms of our
key targets, I believe where we failed was, for the most part, the result of
success in other high priority areas, such as the enormous amount of development
completed both as in house product enhancements and as client sponsored
projects.
I am very proud of my team’s
achievements and would like to share some of them with you. After all, our
success means you, our users, benefit from improved products, better services
and more options.
The challenges will continue but with a
bigger team, ongoing training and new development tools we are well equipped to
face the future.
I offer my sincere gratitude to all our
clients for your ongoing support.
